Michael began his career in sports with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1988. He moved into the sports insurance arena in 1991, working for a small international boutique brokerage firm, and later Aon. In 1998 he started a firm called Special Risk Advisors which he sold to Willis in 2002. He then headed up Willis’s global sports and entertainment practice. In 2005, he opened Risk Point Consulting.
During his 30+ year career Michael has managed over $1 billion in contractual bonus and consumer promotion insurance. He has worked with most of the top sports manufacturers, sports teams and agents helping them manage their contractual bonuses.
Michael graduated from the University of Vermont in 1987 and received his MBA from Boston College in 1996 and has been married to Sally for close to 30 years and has three children – Meredith, Andrew, and Patrick.
Ari Weitz

Like many recent college graduates, Ari was looking for his true calling. After double majoring in Risk Management and Finance at the University of Georgia, he started his career in 2004 as a specialty lines underwriter but it never felt like the perfect fit. Upon meeting Michael Wright in 2006, he immediately realized there was a niche market that wedded his passion for sports and business.
Over the past 14+ years, he has taken great pride in developing strong relationships with current and prospective clients, helping guide them through the process of coverage placement for their contractual incentive bonuses. Every potential customer has a unique set of circumstances. Ari’s passion lies in crafting a solution through communication and transparency that best fits his client’s needs.
Ari lives in Atlanta with his wife, Rachel, and their two children, Zach and Juliet.

Adam joined Risk Point Consulting in 2008.
His attention to detail and organized approach enables him to meet any business need. Helping clients solve financial challenges is Adam’s primary focus. For example, assisting a golf sponsor monetizing an endorsement deal or supporting a college athletic department CFO with strict budgetary demands.
Adam’s drive to deliver value and a positive customer experience make him a key asset to his clients.
Adam grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005. He now lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lilly, and their two children, Audrey and Jack.
